Available from stock in popular thicknesses of 1.5, 3 & 5 mm, our detectable nitrile rubber is held on a roll at 1.2m wide and sold per linear metre. Suitable for seals and gaskets, our detectable nitrile rubber sheeting is made of food quality rubber with a non-toxic, detectable additive and is coloured blue to differentiate it from other rubber.
With a 1.2m sheet width, there is also the flexibility to produce for most requirements in a single piece. Punching facilities are available and we can provide custom extrusions on request. BST detectable nitrile rubber sheeting is designed for use as gaskets and sealing on machinery.
If any of the sheeting happens to end up in a product, dependant upon settings, conventional metal detection systems should be able to detect a 5mm section.
