Our test disks are precision manufactured using cast acrylic, with full traceability. Each test disk is supplied with a manufacturers certificate of conformity. Our acrylic test disks are available with up to 7.5mm contamination bearings and can be made from clear acrylic with colour coded lettering or high visibility acrylic with white lettering.
Regular performance testing of both metal detection and x-ray inspection equipment is an essential component of a quality management system. Confirming the accurate performance of a company’s process controls to ensure compliance to the QMS requires calibrated test equipment with full traceability and all equipment certified according to BS EN ISO 9002 and UKAS calibration.
Contaminant bearings larger than 7.0mm can be supplied upon request. Contaminants up to 4.0mm are supplied in a 5mm thick test disk, larger contaminants up to 8.0mm are supplied in a 10mm thick test disk.

Please note all our test pieces are manufactured to order and may take up to 14 working days to be delivered. Other contaminants and bearing sizes including Stainless Steel 440, Stainless Steel 420 and Bronze are available upon request in sizes upto 20mm.
